David S. Schwarz has served the chemical industry as a statistician and product development specialist for 30 years. He has worked on many important projects where the objectives have been rapid product development and optimization. He has supported numerous research and development teams with statistical expertise that contributed directly to bottom line results.

As a senior statistician with the Tremco Division of The BFGoodrich Company, he supported the research and development of adhesives, sealants, and rubber compounds marketed to the construction and roofing industries. He improved quality and manufacturing of existing products through the tools of Total Quality Management while mentoring others in the use of TQM and SPC methods. He also developed and presented training courses in Basic Statistics, Experimental Design, and Statistical Process Control.

Mr. Schwarz has an M.S. degree in Polymer Science and an M.S. degree in Statistics; both from the University of Akron. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Statistical Association.
